We all do this everyday, 24-7, but only a small percentage of us really pay it any mind.
I’m talking about breathing. It permeates every aspect of our lives yet, barring illness or trauma, we have a tendency to take it for granted.
Here are some of the ways we use it

We equate breath with life because it is life
For those in sports or meditative disciplines, the breath or the way we breathe is of the utmost importance.
When upset, we count to ten, not because ten is a magic number, but it’s because when we breathe in a slow and controlled manner, we are more in control of our faculties, mind and spirit.
I would like to add one more to the list,
Breathe into Life.
Don’t just live your life to exist.
Live your life to Live
Breathe it in. Take deep, cleansing breaths. fill your lungs to capacity and let it out slowly. Count each one. Be still and enjoy the purpose of each breath you take.
Breathe in purpose.
Breathe into life.
